I'll start by saying that if you have oily skin then you need to read this post! I used to have a normal to combination skin before my acne issues arose, but since then my skin is really oily and I constantly try to deal with the problem of facial shine! Living in Cyprus as well with the hot and really humid climate doesn't help either! I've tried my fair share of primers in the past to deal with this issue, but I was not overly impressed with any of them. So when my dermatologist suggested that I try the OC Eight Mattifying Gel I was very skeptical at first.

You’ll get beautiful, worry-free results that last all day.' That was a very good and promising start, so I was ready to use it straight away!

I used it as the directions state on the packaging, after my moisturiser and before my foundation, following my normal everyday routine.

The OC Eight is a white gel with a quite thin consistency. It applied really nicely and evenly all over my face and absorbed fairly quickly within 10-20sec, leaving my skin matte but not at all sticky!

I then went to apply my foundation as usual and noticed that it applied evenly with no streaks or patches.

Usually I have to blot 2-3 times during the day because of the shine and oil on my face, but the day I used the OC Eight I didn't need to do it, not even once!! My face was matte and my makeup lasted more than 8 hours! Result!!! * jumps up and down in the middle of the room while her husband stares at her with a puzzled look in his eyes! *

I've been using the OC Eight Mattifying Gel for the last month and I have to say that is holy grail material! I haven't had any shine issues since I've been using it! It also hasn't caused me any issues with breakouts or clogged pores! Only good things I can say for this product!!! I LOVE IT!!!!
